HURRICANE® ADVANTEX ECR
Glass fibre mats for partial pipe rehabilitation (short liners)
Advantex ECR is used to rehabilitate single sections of a pipe. Therefore a part of the ECR glass mat is impregnated with a mixture of resin and hardener and transported via an inflatable packer to the damaged section inside the pipe. After the packer has been pressurized with compressed air, the impregnated mat is placed on the inner side of the old pipe and hardens on site. This creates a new„ partial„ pipe inside the old one, which bonds firmly and repairs the damaged areas.
The Hurricane Advantex ECR glass mat has unique physical characteristics and is available in two widths (600mm and 1350mm) and three material thicknesses (grammage 1086, 1387, 1547). The choice of grammage influences directly the wall thickness ofthe rehabilitation result.
